Saw the band last night and they were REALLY DAMN GOOD! They played a few songs I didn't know, but I'm assuming they included Ski Jump Nose and Skin Up Pin Up. Two non-album tracks I did recognise were Drastic Surgeon and Take It Easy Chicken. The latter was the last song they played and the intro went on for ages. Paul threw the microphone stand down after using it to scratch his guitar strings, and Chad was going suitably mental crouching down with his guitar, shaking his hair about.
Stripper Vicar got the people pogoing the most. My eyes were on Stove for the most part, 'cos he was right in front of me. I was at the barrier but security wouldn't let me take any photos.
The band hardly said a word during the whole set. There was something at the start of Taxloss about The Beatles, but I didn't catch it.
Travis also made a great support band. They really warmed to the audience and got a few heads bobbing. In fact, I enjoyed them equally as much as Mansun.
Let's just say that if you're going to see Mansun on this tour then you won't be disappionted.
